Más allá de las teorías de asimilación y contacto. Hacia un programa de investigación relacional sobre integración migratoria
Resumen
Las teorías asimilacionistas de las migraciones y la teoría del contacto son dos áreas académicas que durante décadas han dado cuenta de los procesos de integración migratorios y sus dificultades. Aunque esta es una literatura vasta, de manera general la misma no considera específicamente combinaciones de transacciones sociales para explicar tipos de rechazo a las personas migrantes e, hipotética y complementariamente, ‘tipos de aceptación’ a las mismas. Adicionalmente, el grueso de dicha literatura no dialoga entre sí, ni ha buscado integrar los niveles micro, meso y macro de análisis. En el presente artículo sistematizo una propuesta relacional para dar cuenta tanto de tipos de rechazo, como de los distintos niveles de análisis, y así proponer futuras líneas posibles para desarrollar dicha propuesta relacional en la dirección de un programa básico de investigación.
