Complicaciones vasculares secundarias a trauma maxilofacial: una revisión narrativa para el diagnóstico precoz y manejo inicial
Resumen
El trauma maxilofacial puede dar lugar a varias complicaciones vasculares como hemorragias, hematomas, trombosis venosa y lesiones arteriales. El manejo vascular inicial del trauma maxilofacial tiene por objetivo restablecer un flujo sanguíneo adecuado.El objetivo de esta revisión es describir las complicaciones vasculares en la región facial secundaria a trauma para prevenir complicaciones durante el manejo inicial de un paciente politraumatizado. La literatura revisada resalta la importancia de una buena historia, examen clínico y exámenes complementarios son cruciales para identificar el origen del sangrado, el manejo de las lesiones vasculares debe ser expedito, pero cuidadoso para no complejizar aún más el traumatismo del paciente.
