Análisis crítico de las restricciones financieras en la innovación de base
Resumen
Introducción: El artículo aborda el fenómeno de las innovaciones de base (grassroots innovation), entendida como iniciativas comunitarias surgidas en ámbitos locales, con recursos limitados, para resolver problemas contextuales. El objetivo del presente ensayo es reflexionar sobre el papel que ejercen los aspectos financieros en la innovación de base, identificando cómo estos pueden actuar como restricciones o limitantes de su consolidación y escalabilidad. Desarrollo: se muestra que el financiamiento puede acarrear riesgos como la dependencia, la cooptación y la fragilidad económica a largo plazo, puede impulsar la resiliencia y sostenibilidad de las iniciativas. Asimismo, se identifican múltiples barreras de acceso al financiamiento, y se proponen estrategias y modelos para poder escalar esas limitantes. Conclusión: en el campo de la administración y finanzas, el presente trabajo ofrece una sistematización teórica de las restricciones financieras como factor estructural condicionante en la innovación de tipo grassroots, contribuyendo al debate sobre un marco analítico que vincula estas barreras con modelos alternativos, para que esto se conjugue como motor de transformación socioeconómica.
