Pertinencia del docente universitario. Caso de estudio: Instituto Universitario de Tecnología del Estado Trujillo

Abstrac
This work presents the results of an investigation project about the University Social Responsibility, developed in the University Institute of Technology of the State Trujillo, extension The Dividive. The objective was to determine the level of correspondence that exists among the faculty functions, investigation and extension that the university professor completes, with their social obligation inside the University referred Institution. For this, it was carried out a descriptive study and it apply an instrument like a type questionnaire was applied conformed by 23 articles, that allowed to pick up the information to measure the Social variable Relevancy in a sample of 68 professors of the extension. The obtained results demonstrate a low level of correspondence among the faculty functions, investigation and extension, with their social obligation inside the institution what allows to not affirm the professors Social Relevancy. In attention to this result, one can affirm that the work of social responsibility is related with a individual emotion and not with the commitment of ethical evaluation of the social consequences of the work teaching with the social responsibility as members of an institution of superior education.
