Actitud del académico hacia la promoción de la ley de servicio comunitario del estudiante universitario

Resumen

La  participación  comunitaria  es más  que  contribuir  con  trabajo  o  suministros,  es  invitar  a  la  toma  de
decisiones  para  elegir  un  proyecto  comunitario,  planifcarlo,  implementarlo,  gestionarlo,  supervisarlo  y
controlarlo. Por tanto, sobrepasa a la colaboración comunitaria. La animación social promueve actividades en  la comunidad de destino, encauzando a  la sociedad para que asuma una mayor responsabilidad en su propio desarrollo. Este estudio se enmarca dentro de un diseño no experimental de tipo de campo con un nivel descriptivo, el cual permitió conocer las condiciones actitudinales de los académicos universitarios en
su desempeño pedagógico y su infuencia a la promoción de la Ley de Servicio Comunitario del Estudiante
Universitario. La información se obtuvo mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario, a una muestra constituida por 56 unidades de análisis que constituyen el 15% de los académicos de la Universidad Simón Bolívar, Sede Litoral. Las condiciones reales del académico presentan aspectos mejorables en sus ámbitos profesional y pedagógico, laboral y cultural para su cónsone desenvolvimiento en su desempeño y en su rol como agente
socializador, actitud refexiva que incide en la responsabilidad y ética que se le atribuye al contexto legal de
la Ley de Servicio Comunitario. En virtud de los resultados arrojados, se evidencia el interés mostrado por
los académicos, acerca de sus necesidades de actualización permanente sobre el ejercicio de la promoción
de la participación comunitaria.

Abstrac

Attitude of the academic to the promotion of the communitarian service law of the university student

Community participation goes beyond the contribution with work or supplies. It means the invitation to the decision-making, to choose a communitarian project, in order to planning, implement, manage, monitor and control it; therefore, it exceeds the communitarian collaboration. The social animation promotes activities in the target community, orienting the society to assume greater responsibilities for their own development. This study is part of a non-experimental design, field type with a descriptive level, which revealed the attitudinal conditions of academics in their educational performance and its influence on the promotion of the Law on the University Student Community Service. The information was obtained by applying a questionnaire to a sample constituted by 56 units of analysis that accounts for 15% of the academics at the University Simon Bolivar in the Coast Campus. The real conditions of the academics present improvement aspects since the professional, pedagogical, labor and cultural areas for its consistent development of their performance and in their role as a socializing agent, reflective attitude which affects the responsibility and ethics that is attributed to the legal context of the Communitarian Service Law. According to the obtained results, it is evidenced the interest shown by academics about their needs of continuous updating on the practice of promoting community participation.
