El Movimiento Mingei en regiones del sur global. Casos de estudio: India, Brasil y Venezuela
Resumen
El presente estudio aborda el surgimiento y desarrollo de los talleres y exposiciones de cerámica en diversas regiones del sur global a lo largo del siglo XX, vinculados al movimiento Mingei. Se presentan los casos de India y Brasil, que evidencian manifestaciones estéticas híbridas, así como el de Venezuela, que denota una visión modernista. A pesar de la considerable lejanía geográfica entre India, Sudamérica y Japón, el propósito de este estudio es delinear los casos mencionados, haciendo hincapié en los vínculos con el movimiento Mingei y sus enunciados.
