Evaluación de una propuesta de formación de lectores autónomos en la biblioteca universitaria
Resumen
Esta investigación pretende ser una alternativa para mejorar la lectura académicay científica, en relación con las actividades y los servicios que prestala biblioteca universitaria a través de la Sala de Computación SERBIULA Táchira. Con esta intervención se buscó formar lectores autónomos de textos académicos y científicos en soporte electrónico, resaltando la importanciade las fuentes de información que posee la universidad, capacitandoy suministrando herramientas para seleccionar la información académica ycientífica. Para ello, se diseñó un plan en el cual se aplicaron estrategias paraformar lectores de las bases de datos adquiridas por los Servicios Bibliotecariosde la Universidad de los Andes (SERBIULA) y los recursos académicos-científicos en formato electrónico. Los talleres dictados permitieronmejorar las destrezas a nivel tecnológico, informar sobre los productos yservicios ofrecidos, divulgar textos académicos y fortalecer la comunicacióncon los participantes.

Abstract
This research intends to be an alternative to improve the academic andscientific reading, in relation to the activities and services rendered by theuniversity library through the Computing Room SERBIULA Táchira. Theaim of this intervention was to train autonomous readers of academic andscientific texts with electronic support, emphasizing the importance of theinformation sources the university has, qualifying and providing tools toselect the academic and scientific information. To do this, a plan in whichseveral strategies were applied to train readers of the data bases acquired bythe Librarian Services of the University of Los Andes (SERBIULA) andthe scientific- academic resources in electronic format was designed. Thedictated workshops allowed improving the technological skills, informingabout the offered products and services, making public academic texts andreinforcing the communication with the participants.
