The objective is to understand the contemporary technical phenomenon in the modernization of the field, which here I seek to consider in a more specific way based on the idea of the planet’s knowability formulated by the brazilian geographer Milton Santos. I refer to the new technical and scientific possibilities of knowing and apprehending different phenomena that occur on the surface of the earth. This set of objects and techniques allows companies of different sizes to offer advanced precision agriculture services in the concentrated area of Argentina, made up of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and the provinces of Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fe.
