Síntesis de resinas fenol-formaldehido y su aplicación como dispersante y desemulsionante en emulsiones de petróleo pesado con asfaltenos floculados

Resumen


Durante las actividades de producción de petróleo se requiere de la desestabilización de los sistemas coloidales presentes. Con la finalidad de aportar surfactantes de fabricación nacional para suplir los tratamientos químicos, se realizó la síntesis de resinas fenol-formaldehído (resol, novolac y terbutilfenol). Las pruebas de desempeño indicaron que la resina resol presentó mejor ren-dimiento como dispersante de asfaltenos, logrando 100 % eficiencia con 50 ppm. Una vez etoxilada, fue eficiente para deshidra-tar emulsiones de petróleo pesado con asfaltenos floculados, separando 99,99 % de agua y confirmando la funcionalidad de las resinas y su viabilidad para la manufactura a escala comercial.
