Inhibina B y receptor de andrógenos en testículos criptorquídicos pre y post-puberales

Resumen


Nuestro objetivo fue correlacionar la expresión de Inhibina B y el receptor de andrógenos (RA) en las células de Sertoli y en las células de Leydig en testículo criptorquídico pre y postpuberal. Se dividieron las muestras en 3 grupos, el grupo 1 correspondió a testículos criptorquídicos prepuberales, el grupo 2 testículos criptorquídicos postpuberales y el grupo 3 fueron testículos normales como grupo control. La cuantificación de estas moléculas se realizó mediante la digitalización de las imágenes microscópicas y su valoración microdensitométrica. Grupo 1 n=9 edad promedio 5.7 años, grupo 2 n=17 edad promedio 19.7 años y grupo 3 n=8 edad promedio 51.9 años. En los grupos 1 y 2 se observó baja inmunotinción de Inhibina B y del RA en el compartimiento adluminal de las células de Sertoli próximas al epitelio seminífero de las espermátidas inmaduras, en comparación a las que estaban junto a espermátidas maduras (p<0.001); en las áreas de túbulos con hipoespermatogénesis focal se observó disminución significativa de la expresión de Inhibina B y del RA de las células de Sertoli (p<0.0001). Ambos grupos criptorquídicos mostraron baja inmunotinción de Inhibina B y de RA tanto en células de Sertoli como en células de Leydig, comparados con el grupo control (p<0.0001). En la criptorquidia existe disminución de la expresión de Inhibina B y del RA en las células de Sertoli y Leydig, asociado a hipoespermatogénesis, atrofia tubular y lesiones disgenéticas de los túbulos seminíferos frecuentemente observadas en estos pacientes.
