Microbiota endodóntica desde la perspectiva oral y maxilofacial – Una revisión sistemática

Resumen


El microbioma oral es de naturaleza diversa. Las enfermedades bucales están asociadas con la disbiosis bucal. Las demandas pueden satisfacerse mediante avances recientes en genómica y biología molecular. Es necesario aplicar un enfoque multidisciplinario en el caso del tratamiento de dichas enfermedades, especialmente las lesiones de origen endodóntico. El microbioma oral es un arma de doble filo. La revisión actual recopila el microbioma oral en salud y enfermedad con un enfoque odontológico multidisciplinario. Desde el punto de vista del investigador se deben iniciar estrategias de manejo basadas en el potencial terapéutico y la profilaxis. Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica detallada sobre los pacientes con OMFP y su asociación con la patología periapical. Los criterios de inclusión incluyen varios estudios realizados sobre los temas anteriores. Descubrimos que se identificaron un total de 300 casos a partir de 150 artículos publicados en literatura en idioma inglés. De estos 150, se filtraron 98, reduciéndose a 52 estudios completamente descargados relacionados con el tema. Finalmente, la perspectiva de un endodoncista debe realizarse de manera excepcional en pacientes con OMFP para lograr el éxito a largo plazo.
