Estudio del efecto de tensoactivos etoxilados utilizados para la dispersión de microesferas poliméricas en lechadas cementantes
Study of the effect of etoxilated surfactant used for the dispersion of polymer microspheres in cementing drums
Resumen
The use of polymers as additives for cement grouts is widely used in the oil industry due to its versatility in improving cement properties. This research focused its study on the effect that polymeric microspheres have as an additive to decrease the density of the cement slurry and the use of surfactants on the morphological properties of the H-type Portland cement used in the cementing of hydrocarbon producing wells. The polymeric microspheres are used as an extender additive, capable of decreasing the density of cementitious slurry up to a maximum of 11.5 lb/gal at a concentration of 22%. This study proposed to increase the concentration of applicability of the polymer to 30%, achieving with the use of two surfactants A and B for a homogeneous and stable dispersion of the microspheres in the cement matrix, without affecting the physical properties thereof, providing improvements in the dispersion of polymeric microspheres in the formulation of light slurries in the process of construction of oil wells and thus optimizing the process of crude production.
