Simulación del proceso de deshidratación de gas natural de la planta: Bajo Alto El Oro-Ecuado
Simulation of the natural gas dehydration using TEG from the plant: Bajo Alto El Oro-Ecuador
Resumen
The dehydration of natural gas is a fundamental step in its processing, giving value to the end product and avoiding serious problems during their handling. The various methods of dehydration include chemical dehydration using glycols. In the present work the simulation of the natural gas dehydration process was implemented in a base case in PROII/PROVISION evaluating the material and energy balances of the glycol absorption and regeneration columns, sensitivity analyses were carried out to determine the effect exerted by the rate of circulation of glycol, the temperature and pressure of the inlet gas on the water content in the dry gas stream, verified that its value was within the limits established by international norms. The convergence of the balance sheets of matter and energy reached was adequate in achieving a close precise, was ful-filled that the dry gas is less than or equal to 7 lb H2O/MMscf for disposal in pipelines or processing. It was found that for a recovery of 94.5% molar of H2O, in the tower of absorption, of natural gas wet, the conditions of operation of the tower must be greater than 500 psia and 90°F, the relationship (L/G) of operation depends on the number of stages of the tower, for this case there are six stages theoretical.
