A comparison of different control strategies for systems with delay
Resumen
The present work shows control techniques for systems with time-delay. The controllers are compared considering complexity, behavior and stability. Complexity allows to determine how easily can be done on industrial implementation. The behavior focusses on the capacity of response against setpoint and disturbances changes. The stability is related with the system robustness when model uncertainty or errors are present. Finally, simulation examples are shown to illustrate the properties of the studied cases.
