El legado de jacques ellul y el auge de la ia en china: un análisis crítico de la técnica

Resumen


El filósofo francés Jacques Ellul estudió el impacto de la tecnología en la sociedad. Su pensamiento, influenciado por el pensamiento de Marx, de Weber, tiene una gran relevancia hoy en día en esta era de la IA. Para él, la tecnología no era solo una herramienta, sino una fuerza que nos somete. Aunque él también hacía mucho hincapié en la resistencia que hay que oponer a esta tecnología, hoy sus advertencias van íntimamente ligadas a la Inteligencia Artificial. La IA nos puede ayudar, pero también representa un claro riesgo de que la tecnología se apodere de nosotros sin que lo lleguemos a notar. El presente estudio pone de relieve la relevancia del pensamiento de Ellul para dar cuenta del auge de la IA en China y en el resto del mundo y la forma en que esta tecnología encarna los temores más básicos e instantáneos de Ellul.
