De la lectura a la escritura: ¿un largo camino de aventuras o una obligación tediosa?
Resumen
Este artículo presenta una experiencia sobre la lectura y la escritura desarrollada con un grupo de 38 alumnos del Programa “Fray Juan Ramos de Lora”, Cohorte X. Este es un programa de nivelación que ofrece la Universidad de Los Andes a estudiantes de escasos recursos que aspiran ingresar a la institución para cursar una carrera universitaria. Nuestro trabajo se enmarcó en el área de Lenguaje y Comunicación II con el objetivo central de favorecer los procesos de lectura y escritura a través de la literatura infanto-juvenil venezolana. Se presentó en dos etapas: una de sensibilización a la lectura y otra para fomentar la escritura creativa. Al finalizar pudimos observar cierta evolución en el trabajo de los jóvenes. Cada sesión, de ocho horas semanales, representó un paso que nos permite afirmar que el trabajo con la lectura y la escritura, desde el enfoque creativo, puede cambiar el “tedio” y abrir un camino de aventuras.
Abstract
From reading to writing: a long road of adventures or a tedious obligation?
This article presents an experience on reading and writing developed whit a group of 38 students from the program "Fray Juan Ramos de Lora" Cohort X. This is a leveling program offered by the University of Los Andes to low-income students who aspire to get into the institution to study a career. Our job is framed in the area of Language and Communication II whit the main objective of improving the processes of reading and writing through the venezuelan child and adolescent literature. It was presented in two stages: one of sensitization to reading and another one to promote creative writing. At the end we could regard certain evolution in the work of these young people. Every session, of eight hours a week, represented a step that allows us to affirm that work with the reading and writing, from the creative approach, can change the "tediousness" and open a road of adventures.
