Study of reactions catalyzed as methane reforming and selective catalytic reduction of NOx on perovskites of type La0.7Ca0.3Ni1-xCoxO3 obtained via SCS. Part I
Resumen
A series of heterogeneous catalysts of the perovskite type La0.7Ca0.3Ni1-xCoxO3 were prepared (x = 1.0 - 0.7 - 0.5 - 0.3 - 0.0), using the combustion method in solution (SCS) with microwave radiation and in the presence of glycine. The solids were characterized physiochemically using X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy with Fourier transform (FTIR) and measuring the surface area by the single point method. The results show that the average size of the crystalline domains in all the perovskites are below 20 nm, the formation of the predominant phase of the perovskite desired by DRX was verified. The partial substitution of cobalt by nickel favors the activity and selectivity of the dry methane reforming reaction to synthesis gas. For the RCS-NOx the partial substitution of cobalt for nickel has no influence on the activity and selectivity of the reaction.
