Compresión lectora del cuento: cómo mejorarla en estudiantes con dificultades de aprendizaje.

Resumen


Los estudiantes con dificultades de aprendizaje presentan problemas en su comprensión lectora y requieren la enseñanza explícita de estrategias que faciliten este proceso. Por tal motivo, este artículo tiene un doble propósito: Primero, sobre la base de diversas investigaciones, describir (a) la estructura del cuento, (b) su aliado, el mapa del cuento, y (c) la autopregunta [realización de preguntas a sí mismo(a)], tres estrategias que mejoran la comprensión lectora de dicho texto narrativo en esta población. Segundo, ofrecer una guía práctica para enseñarlas a estos estudiantes en educación primaria. Finalmente, se recomienda elaborar, sobre el apoyo de estudios, una guía práctica para atender la comprensión lectora de textos narrativos en estudiantes con dificultades de aprendizaje en educación secundaria.
